Design is a very broad term for what I consider to be a very exciting 'state of creative being'. There is no limit to what you can create and on what scale. In my case, design spans all environments from graphic design to interior design and everywhere in between. The gallery below showcases a variety of works from digital to more traditional media. The digital work includes tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. The more traditional interior decorative design was created with gold leaf and acrylic (water based) paint. All interior decorative pieces were created using the free hand method (no tracing or stencils).
Interior Design Projects
Bathroom Mural
This bathroom mural featuring a carnation was created to match the bathroom tile. This design was applied free-hand and finished with acrylic paint and a matte protective finish.
Gold Leaf & Fine Art Landing Mural
This landing mural design was added to each panel, free-hand. The finished product is made with acrylic paint and a gold leaf frame.
Restoration Project - Before
This restoration project was a lot of fun and required both creative and strategic thinking. Most of the design on this antique dressing had worn away but there was still enough work left over to get a good sense of the style and design.
Restoration Project - After
In the end, I was able to restore the most complete panel and create matching designs on the other two panels as well. All three panels were restored with acrylic paint and protected with a matte polyurethane to protect the painting from humidity and other elements.

"Mokey"
Illustration
This sweet portrait of a pup named Mokey was created using Illustrator. This particular illustration was displayed on coffee mugs and cards and is slated to become a sticker as well. One might ask what kind of pup Mokey is, and my response is: "She's a Mokey" - a special breed unto herself!
"Palisade Reunion"
Complete Label Design
This beer label created for a Niwot brewery’s special release of a new blond sour ale. This multi-media label features a Photoshopped background, a peach rendered in water color and the graphic design all pulled together using InDesign.
"S.W.I.M."
Design & Illustration
Illustrator was used to render this Heron and create an engaging design to encourage Connecticut residents of two neighboring communities to unite and rally behind ending hunger in local areas.
